Moffat County have to be aching after a bruising 14-36 defeat to Battle Mountain on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Moffat County a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The loss dropped Moffat County's record to 2-1. The win bumped Battle Mountain's record up to 3-1.
Next week Moffat County take on Pagosa Springs at Game played in Olathe at 1:00 PM. As for Battle Mountain, they will face off against Woodland Park.
