This season hasn't been kind to the Heritage Academy Warrior, who are still winless after their fifth match. They fell 48-40 to Clinton Christian Academy on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Heritage Academy of the 56-45 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Clinton Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Raymond Hood, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Wisniewski, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Heritage Academy dropped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Clinton Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lighthouse Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Clinton Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Heartland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
