Softball Recap: Trenton Has No Trouble Against Tom Bean

Trenton won the last time they faced Tom Bean and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Tomcats with a sharp 15-5 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Trenton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Tom Bean, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Trenton will square off against Celeste at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Tom Bean does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
