Even though the Greendale Panthers have not done well against the New Berlin West Vikings recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Greendale came out on top against New Berlin West by a score of 62-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Greendale.
Greendale got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyton Yoder out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Greta Dombrowski, who scored 20 points.
The win got Greendale back to even at 4-4. As for New Berlin West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Greendale will head out on the road to face off against West Bend West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West Bend West is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. New Berlin West will be home for the holidays to greet Whitefish Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
