Schley County's Tra Minter rumbled for the longest rushing play in A Region 4 this season in his game against Central last week. Minter's team beat the Hawks as he sprinted for 99 yards on the play and finished with 315 in all.
Marion County added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Brookstone, 39-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Eagles.
Schley County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Minter threw for 119 and 2 touchdowns and Matt Corbin had 95 yards receiving. On the ground Minter chipped in 315 yards. Logan Schofield helped Schley County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 24 yards.

Minter was a beast in the backfield as the Wildcats bested Calvin Epps' team.
Roderick Bishop was a key player and the best on defense this week as Marion County beat the Cougars. He racked up 2 sacks.
Pacelli's Wyatt Peterson and Brian Foster led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Peterson has thrown for 1,061 yards this season, while Foster has 35 catches for 422 yards. Minter from Schley County leads the league in rushing with 1,302 yards.
An important game coming up in A Region 4 this week will be when Hawkinsville takes on Mike Swaney's team. As it stands, the Red Devils are in third, while the Eagles are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hawkinsville takes on Marion County. David Daniell's team has allowed 115 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 81. The Red Devils allowed 20 points last week as they topped Greenville.
The Wildcats took down the Hawks 66-36 last week, the largest margin of any game. Minter in the win.
