Immaculata opened the new year with a less-than-successful 60-52 defeat to Hillsborough. Immaculata has struggled against Hillsborough recently, as their match on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Jayden Green continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hillsborough, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Green's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Zion Harrison was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Immaculata now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Hillsborough, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Immaculata will head out on the road to face off against Sparta at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hillsborough is on the road again on Saturday and play against Robbinsville at 6:30 p.m. on January 6th.
