Lorenzo Peters Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, El Capitan got the W thanks in part to Lorenzo Peters playing the best football he has all season. Peters rushed for 304 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.5 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (125.3). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 91-yard run.
El Capitan pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Peters and El Capitan will square off against Atwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Adarias Morales-Saetern Delivers Best Performance of Season
Adarias Morales-Saetern produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Merced to the win on Friday. Morales-Saetern rushed for 152 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 43 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
For the year, Morales-Saetern has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 74.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 25.5 rushing yards per game.

Dupree Posts Huge Game in 32-8 Win
Another Merced player making an appearance on this list is Quintell Dupree. He threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
