Baseball Recap: Brashier Middle College Charter Comes Up Short

Blacksburg hit Brashier Middle College Charter with a six-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bengal came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 on Tuesday.

Brashier Middle College Charter got a good showing from Landon Hershburgr, who struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Maxwell Cianfarano made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
