Westview had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 42-point drubbing they dealt Buena Vista on Friday. The Westview Wolverines took their match with ease, bagging a 64-22 victory over the Buena Vista Bison. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Westview found their leader in sophomore Kalyn Bailey, who went 6 for 13 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. McKenna Rempe also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Westview was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Buena Vista only posted six assists.

Westview pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Buena Vista, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Westview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-44 defeat against Bellevue West on the 28th. As for Buena Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 83-28 loss against Elkhorn South on the 30th.
