The Lowry Buckaroos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Elko 70-42 at home. The win was nothing new for Lowry as they're now sitting on three straight.
Savannah Stoker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was her 15th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Brinkerhoff, who scored 15 points.
Lowry has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season. As for Elko, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Lowry will be playing in front of their home fans against Churchill County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Churchill County is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Elko, they will square off against Fernley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fernley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Elko in Nevada (Fernley is ranked fourth, while Elko is ranked 35th).
