Crestview had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Plymouth on Wednesday. The Cougars never let the Big Red get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Carlee Crider, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. PJ Endicott was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Crestview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Plymouth only posted an OBP of .062.

Crestview's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Plymouth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Crestview will have a chance to go back-to-back against Plymouth: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
