Southeastern hasn't had much luck against Piketon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Redstreaks at 5:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Southeastern comes in on three and Piketon on eight.
If Southeastern beats Piketon with six runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Panthers beat Peebles on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-2.

Kylie Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ally Fisher was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Lydia Williams was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, while Piketon put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Zane Trace. The Redstreaks blew past the Pioneers 10-0. Considering the Redstreaks have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Not much got past Kyndall Carroll, who gave up just a hit to keep Zane Trace off the board.
On the hitting side, Piketon got a massive performance out of Addy Blakeman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jaylin Forbes, who went 3-for-4 with three doubles, one run, and one RBI.
Piketon pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Southeastern, their record is now 7-10.
Southeastern came up short against Piketon in their previous meeting on April 7th, falling 5-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
