For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Betsy Layne has suffered against Martin County since January 13, 2015.
Magoffin County pushed their record up to 9-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Betsy Layne, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Everything came up roses for Magoffin County against Betsy Layne in their previous matchup back in January of 2020 as the team secured a 92-64 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Magoffin County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
