Zach Hoxie ran for two touchdowns and
Lane Masar added two as well as
Florence (Colo.) defeated
Alamosa (Colo.) 44-20 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Hoxie in the first quarter, the Huskies were up 26-7 at the half.
Florence grew its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. FHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Hoxie touchdown pass to
Dennis Donley.
A 41-6 Florence victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Alamosa (1-3) will play a 2A Tri-Peaks game against St. Mary's next week, while Florence (3-1) will take on Manitou Springs also in a 2A Tri-Peaks game.
