Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arcanum). They came out on top against the Riverside Pirates by a score of 79-72 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Landon Flatter was nothing short of spectacular: he went 9 for 15 en route to 24 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Ball, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Arcanum smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matches.

Arcanum pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Riverside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arcanum has already played their next game (against Union City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverside will square off against Northridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Riverside likes a good challenge.
