The Central Braves will stay at home for another game and welcome the Cascia Hall Commandos at 7:30 p.m. on February 5th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard on Monday.
Last Thursday, Central came up short against the Bulldogs and fell 68-57.
Meanwhile, Cascia Hall waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They came out on top against Casady by a score of 66-55. Given Cascia Hall's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Cyclones are ranked 491st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Cascia Hall, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
Everything came up roses for Central against the Commandos in their previous meeting back in December of 2019 as the squad secured a 76-36 victory. Does Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Commandos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
