Ben L. Smith was led to victory by Morgan Smith and Azahreya Drayton-Gill. Smith scored nine points along with six steals, while Drayton-Gill scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Shamarra Rogers, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Ben L. Smith is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. As for Rockingham County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ben L. Smith will face off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
