Loss or not, Putnam City got some senior leadership from Rodgerick Sloan and Schuylar Turnbull. Sloan rushed for 202 yards and one score while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, while Turnbull rushed for 73 yards and one TD. Sloan showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards.

The victory (which was Charles Page's tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.6 points over those games.
