Lombardi  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base, while  Santangelo  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI. Lombardi is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Nicole Knox, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  double.
 Meanwhile, St. John-Vianney won against Middletown North  on Thursday with nine  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Monday. The Lancers didn't even let Marlboro on the board, marking the Lancers' second-straight  9-0 shutout. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
 St. John-Vianney's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Red Bank Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
