The Plainview Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madill. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plainview in their matchups with Madill: they've now lost five in a row.
It was another big night for Ethan Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds for Madill. That makes it four consecutive games in which Wilkerson has scored at least a third of Madill's points. Mason Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Madill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.
Plainview will be playing at home against Marietta at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Marietta is coming into the contest with four straight losses on the road, meaning Plainview will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Madill, they will challenge Byng at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Byng has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 495 points over their last six matchups.
