After three games on the road, Heart Butte is heading back home. They will take on the Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Heart Butte's game on Tuesday was all tied up 42-42 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 86-80 hit to the loss column at the hands of Two Eagle River. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Great Falls Central Catholic's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their tenth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 60-48 to Fort Benton/Highwood, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Heart Butte now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Great Falls Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
Everything came up roses for Heart Butte against Great Falls Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 79-46 victory.
