Bay Tech will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Leadership at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Bay Tech had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Leadership Public Schools Richmond on the road to the tune of 62-34 on Wednesday. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for Bay Tech this season.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Leadership's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 65-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of KIPP King. Leadership has struggled against the Lions recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
The win got Bay Tech back to even at 4-4. As for Leadership, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4.
Bay Tech was taken down by the 64-23 in their previous meeting back in November of 2021. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bay Tech was down 37-11.
