The biggest upset of the week belonged to Fort Cherry, who took down 131st ranked Fort Cherry, 35-7.
Clairton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in WPIAL A Black Hills. The Bears beat Monessen 52-7 earlier in the week.
Imani Christian Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Khari Hicks threw for 367 and two touchdowns and Eric Scott had 145 yards receiving. On the ground Ron Brown chipped in 80 yards. Brendan Edwards helped Imani Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching 10 balls for 130 yards.
The Saints' Hicks and Scott have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hicks has thrown for 886 yards this season, while Scott, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 20 catches for 348 yards. The Rangers' Kolten Kobrys leads the league in rushing yards with 459.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Canevin Catholic takes on the Greyhounds. At the moment, the Crusaders are in second, while Monessen is in third.
Clairton extended the longest winning streak in WPIAL A Black Hills this week by beating Andy Pacak's team, 52-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
