Volleyball Recap: Gilmour Academy Wins Going Away Against Bay

The Gilmour Academy Lancers made easy work of the Bay Rockets on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Gilmour Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bay between 20 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-20.

Mira Siebert went supernova, getting 29 assists and nine digs. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high.

Gilmour Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bay, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2.

Gilmour Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Mentor on the 18th. As for Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Valley Forge on the 16th.
