Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Dante Flores stepped things up a notch to give Rio Grande City the 'W'. Flores turned in his biggest game of the season, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. He has become a key player for Rio Grande City: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 9-10 otherwise.

Flores' strong effort led Rio Grande City over Roma and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rattlers are 8-2 against the Gladiators going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
