Christ Chapel Academy won the last time they faced the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Christ Chapel Academy walked away with a 49-42 victory over Fairfax HomeSchool. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Christ Chapel Academy.
Christ Chapel Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Brantley led the charge by scoring 14 points along with six assists and six steals. The contest was Brantley's third in a row with at least ten points. Zaria Gaskins was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Christ Chapel Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ Chapel Academy will take on Seton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Fairfax HomeSchool will be home for the holidays to greet Chelsea Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Chelsea Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 last Saturday.
