Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Celeste). They never let Callisburg get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.
Madilen Fronterhouse made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mya Mainord, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Morgan Nickell was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Wolfe City hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .433. However, it's not like Celeste struggles in that department as they've averaged .388. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wolfe City came out on top in a nail-biter against Celeste when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 9-7. Does Wolfe City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Celeste turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
