Frontier School of Excellence and the Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Frontier School of Excellence has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests.
Even though Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, Frontier School of Excellence still came out on top. Frontier School of Excellence had just enough and edged Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri out 60-58.
Frontier School of Excellence's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mohamed Yussuf led the charge by scoring 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Othniel Agbavor, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Midland Adventist Academy came up short against The Daniel Academy on Tuesday and fell 46-38.
Frontier School of Excellence has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Midland Adventist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Frontier School of Excellence took a serious blow against Midland Adventist Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2022, falling 79-21. Can Frontier School of Excellence avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
