The All S Saints will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
All S stacked a fifth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fort Worth Christian 43-7 on the road. The victory was just what All S needed coming off of a 42-13 loss in their prior game.
Alijah Johnson and Kelden Ryan were among the main playmakers for All S as the former rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns and the latter threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes. Qumonte Williams also helped out with an impressive 96 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Grapevine Faith Christian didn't have too much trouble with Bishop Dunne at home on Friday as they won 45-26. The victory was just what Grapevine Faith Christian needed coming off of a 45-14 defeat in their prior matchup.
Clayton Sobecki had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Ben Wagoner, who picked up 157 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
All S's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points per game. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's match: All S has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 195.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Grapevine Faith Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 174.4 per game.
