Omega (8 Man) recap October 8, 2013
Concordia's Brandon Corvera rumbled for the longest rushing play in Omega (8 Man) this season in his game against Westmark last week. Corvera ran for 69 yards on the play and finished with 122 on the day as his team defeated the Lions.
Westmark fell to Concordia 48-32 last week, the largest margin of any game. Braxton Pierce threw for 22 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss.
Joshua Diaz was the best receiver in the league this week as Scott Barker's team topped the Lions. Diaz racked up 1 reception for 32 yards. Jonathan Diaz helped Concordia's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 30 yards.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when Hillcrest Christian's Blake Dundas goes up against Westmark's Griffin Nalle.
The Saints are currently in fourth, while the Lions are in third.
