The East Liverpool Potters lost against the Carrollton Warriors back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. East Liverpool had to suffer through a rough 67-17 loss at the hands of Carrollton. East Liverpool has not had much luck with Carrollton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Hillari Baker was her usual excellent self, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 1 assists for Carrollton. The game was Baker's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Kylie Ujcich was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five assists.
East Liverpool has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Carrollton, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Liverpool is on the road again on Monday and play against Buckeye Trail at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th. As for Carrollton, they will square off against Alliance at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
