Davis won the last time they faced Lexington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 13-1 victory. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Davis is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lexington, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davis will head out to take on Comanche at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will venture away from home to square off against Bridge Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
