Meanwhile, Columbus HomeSchool was able to grind out a solid win over Anderson HomeSchool on Saturday, taking the game 66-55. Columbus HomeSchool pushed the score to 54-34 by the end of the third, a deficit Anderson HomeSchool cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Columbus HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Cline, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. Cline is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Salsbery, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Christian Academy of Madison's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Columbus HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Christian Academy of Madison ended up a good deal behind Columbus HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, losing 82-68. Can Christian Academy of Madison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
