Kimball hadn't done well against Annandale recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cubs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Cardinals. The result was nothing new for the Cubs, who have now won 12 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kimball's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Annandale, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimball will host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cubs 0.8, the Jaguars 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Annandale, they will welcome Rockford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
