Arisa Ford was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 20 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Kayla joy Bowen was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds.
St. John Lutheran pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for First Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
St. John Lutheran will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Redeemer Christian at 6:00 p.m. Redeemer Christian's defense has only allowed 27.1 points per game this season, so St. John Lutheran's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for First Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Gainesville Christian Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
