Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lourdes Central Catholic). They blew past the Omaha Christian Guardians 59-14 on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 59-0.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Lourdes Central Catholic, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Callen Schnitzer, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lourdes Central Catholic's defense and their seven sacks. In that department, Gage Fedoris was the leader with three.

The win made it two in a row for Lourdes Central Catholic and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for Omaha Christian, they will square off against Johnson County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
