With a playoff game on the line, the Longview Lobos rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 59-7 victory over Porter on the road. The win was nothing new for Longview as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Longview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Tutt out in front who threw for 151 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Tatum, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Longview's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Porter, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Longview will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Reedy at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Reedy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Porter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
