McIntosh County Academy has struggled against Montgomery County recently, as their match on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Marley Bell was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 16 points, 17 rebounds, and nine steals for Montgomery County. Bell is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Erin Adams, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds.
McIntosh County Academy dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Montgomery County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.
McIntosh County Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Portal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Portal has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Montgomery County, they will head out on the road to face off against Jenkins County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jenkins County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
