Minooka gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Boilermakers: they've now won six in a row.

Minooka easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Kendall Kozak and Courtney Walter, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Kennedy Walker and her 15 assists.

Coincidentally, Minooka and Bradley-Bourbonnais will both be playing Joliet Catholic the next time they take the court. The Boilermakers will head out to face the Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on September 3.
