The Canton Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 69-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Windsor Locks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (59), Canton still had to take the loss.
Sincere Monroe was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and two steals for Windsor Locks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Hinckley, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Canton's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Windsor Locks, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canton's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Somers at 6:45 p.m. on January 23rd. Somers presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Canton in Connecticut (Somers is ranked 22nd, while Canton is ranked 163rd). As for Windsor Locks, they will be playing at home against Stafford at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
