Sale Creek put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Tyner Academy Rams by a score of 10-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-2 last Thursday.

Sale Creek let Maverick McCary and Joe Bell run wild. McCary went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Bell scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That triple was McCary's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Axl Swiney, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Sale Creek pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Tyner Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Sale Creek will look to defend their home field on Monday against Van Buren County at 5:30 p.m. One thing working in Sale Creek's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Tyner Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Sequatchie County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
