Springport walked away with a 46-39 victory over Vandercook Lake. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Springport.
Among those leading the charge was Braydon Hawes, who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 9 assists, and 9 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Springport's points. Another player making a difference was Jake Kregel, who scored 14 points.
Springport now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Vandercook Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Springport will head out on the road to face off against Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vandercook Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
