The McAllen Memorial Mustangs won the last time they faced the Carroll Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. McAllen Memorial enjoyed a cozy 64-47 victory over Carroll. The victory made it back-to-back wins for McAllen Memorial.
Carroll's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Milo Gonzales, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Sanchez, who scored 9 points.
McAllen Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
McAllen Memorial's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ray at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Ray knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 matches -- so hopefully McAllen Memorial likes a good challenge. As for Carroll, they will head out on the road to face off against King at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. King will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1228th, while Carroll is ranked 275th).
