There's no place like home for the Phillipsburg Stateliners, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They took down Union 72-56 on Saturday. With that victory, Phillipsburg brought their scoring average up to 60.5 points per game.
Andrew Martin was a one-man wrecking crew for Phillipsburg as he scored 37 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Matthew Scerbo Jr., who scored nine points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Phillipsburg's win was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
