The Fontana Steelers pushed their score all the way to 32 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 52-32 walloping at the hands of Arroyo Valley. Fontana was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Arroyo Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Arroyo Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ronald Weathers, who rushed for 336 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Weathers was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards. Another player making a difference was Tukutau Tupouata, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Fontana's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Arroyo Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Fontana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arroyo Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
