The St. Paul Wildcats will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Ravenna Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (St. Paul is ranked 177th, while the Bluejays are ranked 197th).
St. Paul struggled with assists on Saturday (the Eagles had 11 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. St. Paul took a 52-33 bruising from the Eagles.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gracie Kelley, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Gracie Mudloff was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Ravenna lost to the Centurions on the road by a decisive 32-18 margin on Saturday. Ravenna has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
St. Paul has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Ravenna, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.
St. Paul beat the Bluejays 37-27 in their previous meeting on Thursday. Will St. Paul repeat their success, or do the Bluejays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
