The Tushka Tigers will be playing at home against the Valliant Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tushka has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
Tushka pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Tishomingo 66-62. Even though they lost, Tushka's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 51.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Despite the defeat, Tushka got a solid performance out of Tagen Simon, who scored 31 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Simon scored a full 50% of Tushka's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Gibson, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Valliant was able to grind out a solid win over Antlers on Tuesday, taking the game 41-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Valliant.
Tushka's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-4. As for Valliant, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
