Booker T. Washington's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was LeAnna Carpenter, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Cariyonna Banks, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Hamilton's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9. As for Booker T. Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Memphis Business Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Memphis Business Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Booker T. Washington, they will head out on the road to face off against Manassas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
