The Urbana Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 60-41 fall against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin. Urbana was down 49-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin found their leader in underclassman Keison Peoples, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Ayden Ingram, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-3.
Urbana will head out on the road to face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Urbana is coming into the game with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Centennial will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they will be playing at home against Westville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully Westville likes a good challenge.
