Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gonzaga Prep). They came out on top against the Ferris Saxons by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Gonzaga Prep with their most commanding win of the season.

Alex Wood and Kolton Vlasak scored all three of Gonzaga Prep's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

The win made it two in a row for Gonzaga Prep and bumps their season record up to 3-4-2. As for Ferris, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Gonzaga Prep and Ferris will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bullpups see the pitch they'll take on Mt. Spokane at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Ferris, their break will end when they face Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th.
